We’re shining the spotlight on our incredible volunteer, Clare Black, whose dedication over the past two years has helped raise vital funds for Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) research. Inspired by her daughter, Aurelia, who lives with PWS, Clare is always dreaming up fun and creative ways to fundraise—turning passion into action to support groundbreaking research.

Her past events, including Quiz Nights, a Shopping & Pamper Evening, and a Sponsored Swim, have been fantastic opportunities to raise both awareness and essential funding for PWS. Now, she’s taking things up a notch with her latest endeavour – one that promises to be an unforgettable way to wrap up PWS Awareness Month!
Her latest endeavour is just as exciting and looks set to be a fabulous evening to mark the end of PWS Awareness month. Clare’s Wild West Charity Fundraiser is taking place on Saturday, 31st May 2025, at The Coney Suite, Warren Metropolitan Police Sports Club in Bromley, Kent, BR2 7AL and guests can expect:
- A lively line dancing class led by professional dancer Ellie suitable for beginners upwards
- Live music from the talented vocalist Leah D’Costa singing Wild West and Party tunes
- Wild West-themed games led by Spellbound Parties with exciting prizes
- A fun-filled disco to keep the energy high
- A raffle featuring amazing prizes
With tickets priced at just £20 per person (over 18s only), this fundraiser is not only a fantastic night out but also an opportunity to contribute to world class PWS research projects. Tickets can be purchased via www.fpwr.org.uk/product/wild-wild-west-charity-fundraiser-ticket/ or if you cannot make it but would still like to support the event you can via Clare’s justgiving page at www.justgiving.com/page/clare-black-5
