We are thrilled to announce that Ella Toone has officially joined us as our Charity Patron — a moment of immense pride and excitement for everyone involved in our mission.
A close family member connects Ella to Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), and Ella and her family have all been amazing supporters of our charity over the last few years. From attending events to raising awareness, the Toone family has always stood beside us, and we are honoured to now formalise that connection with Ella’s patronage.
Catherine Shaw, Chairperson and Founder of FPWR UK, is excited to welcome Ella as our Charity Patron and says, “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Ella Toone as our Charity Patron. Ella’s connection to Prader-Willi Syndrome through her family, combined with her incredible achievements on the football pitch, make her an inspiring advocate for our cause. Her commitment to health, fitness, and perseverance mirrors the values we strive to promote within the PWS community. Having Ella’s support will mean so much to our families, and we’re truly honoured to have her standing with us.”
As a two-time European Cup winner with the England Lionesses and a standout midfielder for Manchester United, Ella brings a powerful message about the value of health, fitness, hard work, and commitment. Her dedication on and off the pitch makes her an inspiring role model and will help us shine a brighter light on PWS. Her passion, energy, and compassion make her the perfect ambassador for our cause, and we are incredibly grateful for her continued support.
Welcome Ella, we couldn’t be prouder to have you on our team.
