Welcome to our FPWR UK webinar on hyperphagia, a topic that can be both challenging and deeply personal for families affected by Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Hyperphagia, or an insatiable drive to eat, is a hallmark of PWS, but it manifests differently for every child. This spectrum nature can make it difficult for parents to recognise when their child is becoming hyperphagic.
Today, we’re privileged to have with us Dr. M. Guftar Shaikh, an esteemed consultant and expert in PWS. Dr. Shaikh will guide us through the complexities of hyperphagia, helping us better understand its signs and progession.
We will also be joined by Acadia who will discuss their phase 3 trial for Carbetocin, a promising drug, which seeks to treat hyperphagia.
Whether you’re here to learn, share your experiences, or seek guidance, this session is designed to provide valuable insights.
You can register for the webinar via the shop, it is free but you will be added to a mailing list so we can send you the teams/zoom invite on the day for you to be able to join.
Please click here to book your place on Tuesday 3rd December at 7.00pm.
