“Research gives my daughter her best hope for a happy and independent future. “

FPWR UK's 15th Birthday Fun and Research days!

FPWR UK are celebrating 15 years of committing ourselves to furthering and funding research for Prader Willi Syndrome (PWS), in the hope that we are able to find treatments to help our PWS community to live their best lives.

As part of our 15th birthday celebrations we believe its very important to share with everyone in the PWS community what is happening in research and potential treatments. We are very excited and grateful to have been granted funding from our Gold Sponsor Soleno Therapeutics and Silver Sponsor Aardvark Therapeutics to arrange a day out which we can all have a lovely time celebrating 15 years of FPWR UK, meet others in the community, as well as share with you what is happening in the world of research! This is also a chance to ask all of those important questions to us as well as to the Pharmaceuticals and Researchers!

So it is with such great excitement that we would love to invite you and your immediate family (your person with PWS, along with up to 2 adults and up to 4 children) to either a day at Edinburgh Zoo on Sunday 29th March 2026 or to Drayton Manor on Saturday 18th April 2026. (It may be possible to attend both events if ticketing allows, however at this stage please choose your first choice event and we will advertise later if tickets are remaining for people to attend both events).

What is covered in both of these events?

  • Admission fees and passes for all of the family
  • Lunch will be provided (Menus will be distributed to you in due course)
  • Function room all set up with information about FPWR UK, PWS Research and the Pharmaceuticals Sponsors
  • Speakers from Soleno Therapeutics, FPWR UK and the world of PWS Research.
  • Photo opportunity with PeeWee!
  • The use of the Function Room throughout the day to rest and relax

Sign up to your chosen event by filling out this form, and we will then contact you for further information.
